BUSINESS ANGELS NORWAY HAVE LAUNCHED TWO SUCCESSFUL LOCAL PROGRAMS FOR ANGELS

Last autumn, Business Angels Norway have created two regional programs for Angels in Norway. Using NAP toolbox, expertise and process in learning how to select and evaluate start-ups, these programs have been a success.



Launched in November 2020, the latest Oslo International Angels Program has just come to an end. The course included practical and theoretical input from Angels with in-depth knowledge. Our angels-in-training have heard first-hand experience and guidance along with 15 hand-picked startup pitches. Through the 5 sessions, they have gained the fundamentals of this exciting form of investing, have learned to screen startups, and have worked through conducting due diligence on the finalists. Together with our Lead Angel, they have selected 2 finalists and are considering investing in these two promising businesses.



Business Angels Norway has also built a successful community of angels in Bærum and Asker. Last autumn, the Business Angels Training Bærum and Asker Program have equipped investors with some tools to evaluate a startup, the basics of business analysis and of angel investing, to recognize the investment opportunities and so much more. In the theoretical part, presenters with long investment experience have taught relevant concepts for early-stage investments. In the practical part, the trainees have evaluated 20 startups and chosen a final winner. Many Angels have taken an interest in the finalists worth investing in.
